We were fortunate enough to meet Kent on our very first visit to the Outer Banks. Kent toured us from one end of OBX to the other. We fell in love with the town of Duck and ended up in a bidding war on a home at the end of our third day of house hunting. Fortunately, we were out bid. While we were disappointed and had to return to Vermont empty-handed, Kent said there is a reason for everything.... and he was right!

About a month later, we received a call from Kent saying he found the dream home we were looking for, however, he was convinced it would be gone by the weekend. We caught a 5:30 a.m. flight the next morning, met Kent for lunch, toured the house, and we closed the deal later that evening as the sun went down. It was surreal—picture-perfect!
